Auto Immune

Has anyone been told their eczema may be an autoimmune reaction? I recently have by my dermatologist that my flare ups could be due to my white blood cells attacking my hand skin

My dermatologist did nothing but give me lotion for dry skin

I'm in the same boat. They tried immunosuppressive pills for a while, but I ended up getting sick too often on them, so I just get random flares, mainly if I'm run down or stressed or something. Not ideal.

Yes, I was told the same thing. And was given a diet to increase my red blood cell count.
