Has Anyone Tried Immunosuppressive Drugs?

I would love to hear your experiences, good or bad. I know they can have some serious side effects, but am not currently able to live a normal life and nothing else seems to help.

I was on cyclosporine for 9 months over 3 yrs ago, I was lucky I had no side effects and it cleared my eczema up for 3 years, I am currently having a flare up and I’m waiting for a hospital referral and hoping the put me on them again before it gets too bad

I was on cyclosporine for approx 8 months. I was going through very early stages of topical steroid withdrawal and was in so much pain and had to get some relief as I ended up in ER twice due to the severity of my skin. I believe it helped with the severity of the withdrawal in the early stages. I hate to think where I would be without it. It gave me sanity. I had to get regular blood tests and couldn’t be on it for longer than 1 year. I did experience bad flares when I weaned off cyclosporine. Did anyone else experience this?

I was on ciclosporon a few years ago they helped alot but u have to get kidneys and liver checked every 2 weeks. My kidneys failed at 3% but skin was good at this point
