I am also allergic to citric acid, both dietary and topical. And I've never met anyone with all the same skin problem as me, so I don't really get alot of helpful advice.it wouldn't be nice to here some new advice, and I would have alot to share to, because I've been dealing with it most of my life.
I also try to avoid high fructose corn syrup, I don't think I have allergies to it necessarily, but it's really bad for the body anyway and can cause fat deposits around organs. Also, if you get rashes from the citric acid allergy, alkaline things really help like Baking soda baths, or baking soda soap. Vitamin E, helps to.
Hi there! I’m also allergic to citric acid, both dietary and topical. It is so difficult to manage as citric acid is in so many beauty products and foods. I also discovered that I’m highly allergic to high fructose corn syrup and basically any processed corn products and their derivatives. It’s a nightmare. I moved to the US from Australia and have found that processed corn is in most foods and beauty products here. I’m currently nearly two years into topical steroid withdrawal and dealing with all these dietary issues too, which flare up my skin and make it worse. I also have never heard anyone who is allergic to citric acid, so that comforts me. Does anyone have any issues with processed corn?!
