When my son was at his worst I started giving him oat baths and started seeing immediate improvement. You can take regular old fashioned oats and can do it two way, either put them in tea bags to soak in the water or use a grinder or blender to grind them for direct pouring. Then I simply added nourishing oils like coconut oil or sunflower oil (whatever works best for you) and mixed it all together in the tub. The effects are super hydrating and then continue your regular moisturizing regiment no more than 3 minutes after the bath. It may not be a permanent fix but I can attest to it being helpful at the very least.
