I Have Never Had An An Issue With My Skin Until Now, At The Age Of 67.

It started with a few red, raised, itchy spots on my lower legs and within 2 months it was widespread - both legs, thighs, arms, chest, back. No sleep due to the severe itching at night. After several visits to my dermatologist and allergist/immunologist, lots of blood tests and allergy testing, I have been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis or eczema. No allergies, no new products. I am baffled as to the cause of this. Has anyone else experienced such a sudden onset like this?

SherryW and GrameJonie...I have been on Dupixent now for almost a year with great results. I still get a few small itchy red patches at times which go away after a few days, worse in spring & summer. I have not had any significant side effects from the Dupixent.

Reading these stories scares me...I think GMOs and other environmental factors are causing us all many problems. Dairy was the problem for me. I no longer get bad eczema on my hands since giving it up. I gave up all dairy for a while, and now I can tolerate yogurt and cheese, but milk or cream give me an instant flare-up. Try giving up the most allergenic foods (dairy, eggs, wheat) one by one, and see if that helps.
