I used to have eczema in my arms and elbow area, but it migrated to my legs. I also have other auto immune disorders namely type 2 diabetes and a basically dead thyroid. I take Metformin and Levothyroxine for both. I have had eczema my entire life and besides the genetic disposition for it, what kind of things cause itchy skin flare ups? Food? Normal household products?
Looking for solutions.
Dairy causes it for me. I never drink milk or use cream now, and my eczema has gone away completely. I can tolerate yogurt and cheese now, unless I am really stressed.
