What's Your Top Tip For Managing Eczema In The Summer Heat?

I have the most extreme from of Atopic Dermatitis. Suffered for many years with no help. I’ve only ever met one person with eczema as bad as mine. More then 90% of my body was broken out when I started Dupixent. It’s been years now & Dupixent helps regulate my immune system and this stopped the worst of the eczema. What I found is although the auto immune part of the eczema was controlled with this injection, I was still having what I call ‘normal eczema’ flares. What I mean by that is ‘some dry itch patches on specific parts of my body. I take Dupixent every two weeks but I was finding the results only lasting about 10 days. I was trying all these supplements, Vit. D, Multivitamins etc. to fill in the gap but nothing was helping. My friend introduced me to something called Juice Plus+ and the difference is night and day. I only have a flare up now when I drink alcohol in large amounts. When I do have a flare up from this I usually just take an extra dose of Juice Plus+ and it stops the flare up & I’m completely healed in 2-3 days (before Juice Plus+, it took 7-10 days to heal, even on the Dupixent) I hardly even use my creams anymore ( I still need lotion for general dry skin but steroid creams are thing of the past for me. We spend out whole lives not eating right then then wonder why we’re having skin issues and low grade chronic inflammation. Juice Plus+ fills in that gap and gives your daily dose of nutrition. I has changed my life and I didn’t think a natural product could do that. It’s simply fruits & veggies in a capsule. When you flood your body with natural nutrients daily it responds exponentially. It’s a complete game changer in the world of supplements. I don’t come on here much so if you want to reach out to me and chat more you can DM on Facebook or Insta. Have an itch free day everyone. :))

I'm 26 and have had eczema since I was 5 and this is what I have learned.
Make sure to moisturize and hydrate your skin before stepping out into the sun. Keeping your body (internally) hydrated is key to keeping your skin from getting dry.

I think what a lot of the things docs are giving are only treating symptoms, not cause. I've been on and off prednisone all 55 of my years, mostly for asthma. Problem is, it destroys all of the rest of your body. If you're dealing with an immune system that's completely overreacting, which is sometimes the issue with eczema, it only makes the problem worse.
