Has Anyone Else Been Put On Biologic Immune Suppressant Injection ?
A MyEczemaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been put on four different biologic immune suppressant injections (changes three times) and it seems to making my eczema worse. I am on them because of RA!

My GI doctor has me on a modified paleo diet. And medications to help my digestive system to work like it is supposed to. And being on immune suppressants, cardiac meds, fibro meds, celiac meds, and a long list of holistic replacements because I am either intolerant or allergic to most pain meds

I have RA also. I have an infusion of Orenzia [orensia] mis-spelled it. Once per month. I need nothing else for pain
anywhere. My diet is the Oxalate diet, because the chemical oxalate causes much pain. Kidney stone people are are the oxalate diet. Check it out. This will stop allot of your pain, I have found. Best of luck with your RA.

I am on a modified paleo diet! I cannot take them typical pain meds most people can take. And prednisone and halibatizol cream my insurance only covers the tiny tube per month, Hawaii Medicaid covered the big tubes. Its a fight to get most things covered because I don't fit into the typical box

Could it be another ingredient in the injection? My derm wanted me to try Pimecrolimus topical and it worked for my skin lesions but it caused inflammation due to a reaction I have to propylene glycol. There was no immune suppressant topical I was able to use, and every time I refill I have to fight the pharmacy to get a steroid cream that is not also irritating...too many ingredients in everything! I am finding that photo therapy and a sensible low histamine/Pro DAO diet including stopping antihistamines, help immensely. And that would not interfere with your meds if they are working.
