Goat’s milk

Goat’s milk

Hi, I’ve only recently been ‘diagnosed’ with eczema but for years I’ve already been cycled through emollients and steroid creams/ointments which appear to have no effect. I was wondering whether anybody has experience with using goat’s milk to help eczema? I’ve seen reviews of both using goat milk soap and drinking goat milk (kefir, which I’ve just started) supposedly helping skin but I’d like to know if anyone has experienced this.
Thanks

Toddler on antihistamine, anyone else?

My toddler has been on antihistamine for over a year now, has anyone been on antihistamine and had withdrawel symptoms after taking it away? Are they long term complications? Does it affect them growing up?

Hi, to my knowledge, antihistamines won’t result in withdrawel symptoms, as there’s no addictive component. Perhaps only psychological reliance.

Allergies as a cause for Eczema? Does anyone have suggestions for what test to do to test for skin/food allergies?

Allergies as a cause for Eczema? Does anyone have suggestions for what test to do to test for skin/food allergies?

I have been dealing with blistering Dishydrotic eczema on my hands and atopic dermatitis on my elbows and shoulders for years with flair ups with blisters and itching everywhere. I’m not too sure yet what causes the flair ups. I have heard that food sensitivities or contact allergies could be a cause. So I’m asking for thoughts and suggestions for what test is best and others experiences?

My husband says that I should not drink alcohol because I will never get rid of this. Is this true? My face really hurts I have tried budesonide cream 2.5% hydrocortisone and now the doctor gave me tacrolimus but this cream causes cancer
