I use Dr. Bronner's bar soap, or Dr. Bronner's liquid soap if I run out - it is also a castile soap, like the Kirk's mentioned before - I used the fragranced Dr. Bronner's, it doesn't bother me… read more

Have any body heard of subacute spongiotic dermatitis? I was diagnosed in the early 1990's and was told this will never go away. And it's true. But I found a temporary cure. If you live close to the beach, wade in the water. I don't know if its the salt water or micro organism in the water eatting on the area. Believe me it clear up for about 3 to 4 days.

I always used baby oil with vitamin K after bathing to prevent dryness. I would pat my skin dry after using it. Will this help with eczema also?

Anytime I use scented soap I get real flair up and I’ve use dove sensitive soap bar but I need a none scented soap with great moisturizer.
Be careful using any Aquafor products. It has lanolin, which is a wool derivative!

Hello,
I am trying to help my thirteen year old get her eczema under control. Her arms are red and where not red, mostly white patches. We have tried every lotion. This year it spread to her knees. Specialist at Children's laughed at me when I suggested food allergy. Steroids only make the white patches worse. I have tried every natural lotion imaginable and nothing works. White patches are actually more concerning than the red.
Willing to start over again but losing hope.
