I've used Lavander essential oil diluted of course. I recommend using coconut, sweet almond, jojaba, and /or sunflour oil as a carrier oil.

Aveeno products are best and in the case of wheat or nut allergies be cautious about it.

Aveeno is great, and child's farm is an excellent moisturizer for wee ones. I actually use it myself as a daily moisturizer because it's so gentle and a little goes a long way.

I would be careful with Sassy's recommendation for using coconut oil. Please, please always swatch a patch of skin before using coconut oil. It's actually allergenic for many people with skin conditions - something I didn't know until I slathered myself in it after someone said how good it was and I had such a severe reaction that most of the skin on my back came off in big patches and blisters, it was like burns.

On my baby, i use oilatium, then petroleum vaseline to lock moisture and finish again with oilatium to get it absorbed. It works for him, keeps moisturised all day
