Rob1n,
My daughter has been dealing with a very sever case which has just been getting worse over the last 3 years. We have tried all the topical creams, we were on cyclosporine which she maxed out the dose and uad no relief. From that point we fought wirh the insurance to try dupixent. Because ahe has the body size of an adult, I think it also played a part in the approval process.

I started with Dupixent in April 2018 and my skin is way better than it has ever been in the past. I do have patches of redness/scales which I wish weren't there because it still makes me feel uncomfortable to wear short sleeves or shorts but I would rather have that than experience the painful cracked, weeping, red skin all over. I use protopic and clobestol as the creams but it minimally helps.

I have been on Dupixent since May 2018. I have seen a dramatic reduction in itching and my skin has cleared about 75-80%. I have not had any side effects. Overall I am pretty happy with the results.

My daughter who is 16 started almost 3 months ago.... still dont see any improvement. The side effects for her have been conjunctivitis and eyelid swelling. They say it takes 6-8 weeks to see results, we're still waiting.
