I just want to know that im not alone. Most of ny flare ups are in my hands or on or around my mouth. And my cheeks. My flare ups are the weepy blisters and scaly dryness. Its the most painful/annoying thing ever! When I have flare ups on my face I just hide. And when i cant hide. I feel like everyone is staring or judging me. What sort of things do you use to calm these flare ups?
I have the same flares, so you are not alone. 😊 I have had these flares since childhood. Been through All the testing. Food, Chemicals ect.. for me i have flares around my mouth, my hands, on my scalp, i have always used the All Free & Clear laundry soap and dryer sheets. Also just lately started using Goat Milk soap. Oats and honey from The Bend Soap Company. It has really helped. Also no creams or any make up I just put Vaseline on after a shower. Much better results. Hope this helps you know you are not alone. Hugs 😊
I avoid gluten and dairy for autoimmune issues in general. It has REALLY helped with my asthma, but skin stuff seems to be the most stubborn. 😖
Yes I get flare ups around my mouth, eye brows, in my ears and sometimes my scalp. I started getting them in my 30's and have lost a lot of hair on my scalp and small patches of hair loss and scarring in my mustache and chin.Back when it first started my scalp was the worst, a beautician said it looked like cradle cap, and then I was a lab tech using chemical acids to clean wheels and strip cured powder coat off bad wheels and operating a waste water systems that used caustic acid and now I mostly just get it around my eye brows and mouth especially when my beard gets a few days growth like I'm allergic to my own hair. I'm not sure what else triggers it but I found and alone soap at dollar general once that worked great. Also when I get tanned up nice and dark in the summer I don't get any break outs.
Yes they do. My daughter who's ten now has had eczema since she was four. She flare up after she eats to much. But I have been giving her milk baths with coconut oil plus I have her drink more water than others. I've found that when her skin gets itchy she needs more water in her system. Plus I have her soak for an hour
