I have a question about what is a pre -shower moisturizing routine. I've read that seniors shouldn't bathe for a couple of days. Then I've read that it's essential to shower every day. I was only diagnosed about a month ago. So any suggestions would be appreciated.
Long brush can help. Also bamboo backscratchers from dollar stores with wraps dipped in lotion can reach almost anywhere.
I’m 71. I’ve had eczema for about 3 years, as an itchy burning rash. I’ve tried the following: apple cider vinegar, tracrolimus ointment, vaseline, Dove with no phosphates, and light therapy. The combination of the light therapy and tracrolimus worked but when I stopped the light therapy, it came right back.
I am new to this site, and praying for help.
This is a great question! I normally twist my body in weird ways to lotion up. I'm thankful for my partner who helps me when I can't reach certain areas!
For those who need help in applying lotions, cream, etc. to back I found the perfect answer for me. It is called "bearback" of which I purchased on Amazon. It is $24.95 and worth every penney of it. It comes with an extra roller of which I think will last a very reaonable amount of time. My shoulder started to bother me in applying creams so this was my answer. There are cheaper ones but would not waste my money.
