I have eczema on my inner thighs and have to wear leggings inside out because the seams cause way too much pain. Have any of you found a solution better than wearing my clothes inside out?
I put clobetasol propionate ointment on right after I get out of the shower, followed by cerave healing ointment, then cetaphil eczema cream. It’s been like this for months. I was hoping it would get better with the warmer weather. It doesn’t itch, it burns and feels really chafed sometimes.
Hi Ashley, thank you : ). I can’t wear loose fitting pants because when I do, the inner seams rub on my inner thighs even more. Thank you tho!
So, I had issues with seams also. Mine had to do with fibromyalgia, not eczema, but I got to the point that I had to wear my underwear inside out also. I wore leggings also and, like you, the looser ones hurt more than the tighter ones. It became unbearable. I saw an ad for Pop Fit leggings and decided to try them. Best decision of my life. They have flat seams, so you can’t even feel them. Not sure what other brands use flat seams but they are amazing!
Called constricts, heat inflames Take the shower at the coldest setting
Hey @A MyEczemaTeam Member - I've noticed that when I wear tight clothing for a long period of time or back-to-back my eczema gets irritated. So instead, I wear more loose clothing or I will switch from leggings to loose pants so that I can let my skin breathe.
