Members shared their experiences with Dupixent for skin conditions, with timelines for noticing improvement ranging from just a few days to several weeks or months, and many reporting excellent results for years before some eventually saw the medication stop working. Several members offered practical guidance, including enrolling in manufacturer assistance programs to reduce costs, understanding that biologics can take time to show full effects, and discussing alternative treatments like Adbry or Rinvoq with doctors if Dupixent loses effectiveness. A recurring theme was cautious optimism tempered with patience, as members encouraged newcomers to give the medication time while staying alert to potential side effects like eye issues and advocating with insurance for coverage.

Injections seemed to work miracles on me. Itch stopped after second injection, rash has now gone away two months later. I had a hip replacement done last week and my doctor had me stop the injections but I can start back now. I am going to talk to my dermatologist next week to see if I should continue. My skin right now is almost perfect and no itching what so ever.

My dermatologist got me on a vendor program to reduce the price because it was not affordable with my insurance.

The cost of Dupixent is very high, for those who used it, do you pay upfront or your insurance cover the cost? I’m with Kaiser and they only cover very small portion!!!
