I have not had any reaction. It is a gift!
Cold sore, acne, blurred vision. Only had 3 injections.
Hi Anita, so you got turned down by your insurance, I didn't know it had to be over 80% of your body, that must be the insurance co's thing, because I was in the hospital once because my forearm had swollen up with infection, from me scratching my excema itch. I went to the hospital, they put me on intravenous there, and had to keep it up at another medical facility. While I was having the intravenous procedure, one of the Drs. walked over to me and asked if I thought about getting Dupixent shots, and I said no, because I only had excema on my forearm and on my lower leg. So he said, doesn't matter, you could get infection from excema again and it could be a lot worse. He gave a referral to a Dermatologist, and when I asked about the price, he said if I talked to my family GP, I could get a lower price and in some instances for no charge, depending on the circumstances. My GP didn't want me to get it because he said it might harm my immune system, which pissed me off, because 6 y.o's get it. He's just really picky about things. So anyway, I don't think you have to be covered 80%, that's just your insurance co's rules. If you could get a referral from your Dr to a Dermatologist, and pay for it yourself, or get some kind price reduction, I don't think there would be a problem with you getting it. I'd ask some questions, from what I've heard, it would be really worth it. I wish you luck, and take care Anita :)
Get on the MyWay program, depending on your diagnosis it could be paid for. The Dr needs to submit paperwork and you need some blood work and a TB test. Worth it. My only area of itching after 3 years is my head. Tried everything wish I knew what to do. All suggestions welcome!
I got it but I am 73 and retired. Could that matter. It really works!
