Closys sensitive toothpaste is also another option for an SLS fee toothpaste....

I prefer Tom's of Maine Botanically Bright toothpaste, as it has no SLS in
it and the ingredients are pretty "clean" except for carrageenan. Since
I'm elderly, I do not use toothpastes with fluoride; I don't need more
fluoride. Botanically Bright has no fluoride. The flavor is peppermint.

Not all Tom's of Maine toothpastes are SLS free. Some of their toothpastes
have SLS and that ingredient can cause a rash around the mouth and lead to
canker sores.

Tom's of Maine Botanically Bright is a good toothpaste that may not cause irritation. It's a little hard to find in stores, but it is out there...
