Does anyone else have eczema on their feet? Only thing that’s helped is a cortisone shot but looking for other solutions.

Does anyone else have eczema on their feet? Only thing that’s helped is a cortisone shot but looking for other solutions.

Sweat is a trigger but what can I do? I have to work and am on my feet all day. So tired of incredibly itchy, dry, scaly, leathery peeling patches of skin. If I use powder to stop sweating dries it out even worse. Help!

Goat’s milk

Goat’s milk

Hi, I’ve only recently been ‘diagnosed’ with eczema but for years I’ve already been cycled through emollients and steroid creams/ointments which appear to have no effect. I was wondering whether anybody has experience with using goat’s milk to help eczema? I’ve seen reviews of both using goat milk soap and drinking goat milk (kefir, which I’ve just started) supposedly helping skin but I’d like to know if anyone has experienced this.
Thanks

Pregnant and suffering !

Pregnant and suffering !

Since I've gotten pregnant my treatment has just gotten horrific. I can't get a dermatology appointment in my home town and have to travel miles to a hospital to see dermatologist and the appointments are often 6 weeks up to 12 weeks apart. So if a treatment isn't working great then I have to wait 6+ weeks to go back to review. I used to be on cyclosporine and it pretty much cleared up my skin but now I can't have it. I have to wait 3 months and they won't put me back on it till the babys… read more

How do I soothe a dry, sensitive, red face?

How do I soothe a dry, sensitive, red face?

Every 6-8 months, my face seems to dry out and gets horrible red patches. I wonder if my skin is getting used to the moisturiser I use and then suddenly reacting against it?
I discovered Clinique Moisture Surge Intense ansmd it worked miracles but now makes it red and itchy!!!!
Has anyone else experienced this? I absoloutly wont use steriods on my face - jyst want a nice creamy moisturiser that is fragrance free and kind.

Menopause & eczema

Menopause & eczema

Are there any women on here who have severe eczema and are going through either peri-menopause or menopause. The skin on the face and body are dry and hot but using a moisturizer only helps a bit? I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow to discuss further treatments because I have people who constantly ask what happened to my face and I'm starting to feel embarrassed about going out in public. I just need to know if others who have gone through this have had the eczema clear up after menopause was… read more
