Overview
Exederm Flare Control Cream is an over-the-counter topical medication used to soothe and heal itchy, red skin associated with eczema in people two years and older. Exederm Flare Control Cream contains the drug Hydrocortisone.

Hydrocortisone is a topical corticosteroid. Corticosteroids fight inflammation by preventing cells in the skin from releasing inflammatory substances.

How do I take it?
Apply Exederm Flare Control Cream to affected areas three to four times a day.

Side effects
The FDA-approved label for Exederm Flare Control Cream includes warnings to avoid contact with eyes, do not use for diaper rash, and stop use and consult a doctor if skin condition does not improve after seven days.
