Does Anyone Else Have Contact Dermatitis Only On Hands?

Does Anyone Else Have Contact Dermatitis Only On Hands?

Mine is horrible the doctor has me on prednisone for 5 days now only slightly improving. Itches like crazy especially at night.

Yes!!! Looks exactly like mine. I'm 57 and have had eczema since a child. Was just my toes and ankles, now...just my hands. The itching! At night and 1st thing in the morning, worst. Do you get those little "watery bubbles", that are easily "popped". Usually after I pop the water bubbles, the itching settles down for a while. I try to douse my hands in benadryl cream, right after breaking the tiny bubbles. Also helps clear a flare up. Hope it helps...

Mine is also mostly on my hands, Dermatologist prescribed Clobetasol cream. It helps but regular use thins skin so I don't use it everyday. My flares are hand sanitizer, many hand soaps, warmth from any heat source and strangely using any electronic devices really makes it bad. For example; using desktop computers, laptops, Kindles, cell phone, etc. I use a rubber tipped pen on all touch devices, plus wear fingerless gloves but while using any devices my hand feels stinging, itching and burning. Can't completely avoid these devices now days so feel it's a chronic problem. Dermatologist had never heard anyone talk about this except me.
