Will Be Starting Rinvoq In A Wk. Or So. Would Love To Hear From Folks Who Have Or Are Using It - And Pluses/minuses Of It?
As an FYI, used Dupixent for 5 months; last dose a month ago. Had NO improvement in healing or itching while using π
Seven months on it now & it has been great. The itching stopped everywhere within a wk π. Hands cleared up in about 2-3 wks, it was gradual and the feet took a tad longer. Have had no flareups at all. Still moisturizing every day as we have had a dry summer & staying out of the sun. After a continuous horrible flareup on my heels for over 6 months, I feel like a new person. Have not had to take any antihistamines either.
I was on dupixent for a year with having some of the same issues you had then had some financial issues about getting my prescription for it, got switched to rinvoq about 2 weeks ago now
@A MyEczemaTeam Member My eyes are tearing more-but then sometimes very dry and one eyelid twitches sometimes. But I was starting to not be able to function as a person and dupixent takes time. How long have you been on it? I'm definitely improving. I seriously would wake up screaming like parts of my body was on fire and my boyfriend would put frozen veggies on me. One time I was at a football game and my ear just suddenly went on fire. The tears just come. I was ready to put myself in whatever hospital would take me. I have a ways to go but for right now, I can tolerate the eye thing. It's given me my life back.
Ive been on Dupixent from 2-24 to now 6-24. It has been a miracle for me. Hope it doesn't stop working like some of you mentioned. Praying.....
I have been on Rinvoq for all most a year now it has cleared up my skin and have had no issues dupixent quite working after being on it for 2 years hopefully this will help you
Can Anyone Tell Me If They Have Taken Dupixent? If So, When Did You Realize It Was Working?
Who Has Had Great Excema Support From Dupixent Or Taking Rinvoq.
