As a lifelong sufferer of facial eczema I have tried just about every brand of lotion, crème and natural oils for example extra virgin coconut oil, and some work better than others and some not at all as far as hydrating and keeping redness and itchiness to a tolerable level. I would advise strongly against steroids as they make the condition worse. Never use around the eyes! Check into food allergies or make up ingredients If you haven’t already done so. Overall try to find a tolerable lotion or crème and apply as needed.

I have atopic dermatitis and usually I apply moisturizer or a cold cream after taking a bath. If there is redness( wounds type flares), then I use corticosteroid creams like Cosvate G, Clop G, etc.
