Whatever works I always say!

I've used steroid creams, etc prescribed by a dermatologist, but the only thing that has helped the itch on my face AT ALL is Vick's. I'm not sure it's the perfect answer but at least I'm not scratching my face bloody!

When I feel any itching even so slight to begin with, I apply OTC hydrocortisone Immediately and then apply CereVe cream relief--the white jar with red lettering which has an itch ingredient as listed first. I continue this with the medication untill relief is found and then just the lotion 2 times a day but I don't hesitate using cortisone which this strength can be used for some time. Harlan MD Smart Lotion is slightly lower in hydrocortisone and has sulfur (as in hot springs) which he says that combination can be used always without worry about thining of skin. There is a website HarlanMD.com and can read all about it. I have both kinds and sometimes I use one on a certain area and another on another area. Another good thing is that you can contact them and even talk to someone or Email them.
