After speaking with my specialist, it was agreed to use Aveeno eczema therapy because it has Colloidal oatmeal within it. The great thing is both the daily moisturizing and the nighttime moisturizing balm have that as the ingredient. The very first thing noticed, the product is thicker. The second thing noticed the product from both daily moisture and nighttime are cool to the skin when it is applied.

I have noticed the coolness stays with me for quite a few hours which is quite nice. I really like the nighttime balm as it does help sleeping in my opinion. The purchase of both were well worth doing and I did get them both on Amazon at a reasonable price.

A third item invested in was Aveeno Eczema Rescue Relief cools down my skin when it gets tight and dry. I don't use this product all the time but I will use it when my skin has that warm tight feeling. By the way, this product also has Colloidal oatmeal however it is thinner than the other two.

Hello Sophia:

I use SEEN shampoo and conditioner with great success and I love what it does to my hair. Yet it is expensive. It is highly concentrated, so it lasts a long time.
I also enjoy SEEN Blow Out Cream - it is so much better than the SEEN leave-in conditioner.

On my body, I used Eucerin Eczema Relief Cream. I like this better than Aveeno creams. Eucerin is quite thick, so if you don't like a thick cream, you will not like Eucerin Eczema Relief Cream.

I can't use anything but Vaseline on my face.

I use Almay Sensitive Skin deodorant (sold at Walmart and on Amazon). This does have aluminum in it, but I do not shy away from aluminum, as it gives me the protection I need. I've tried deodorant without aluminum and it just doesn't work for me.

Good luck.

- Look for eczema-friendly shampoos and conditioners.
- The National Eczema Association offers some options.
- Some people with eczema can use standard shampoos and conditioners as long as they keep them on their hair and away from their bodies.
- One tip is to wash your hair after bathing by flipping your head over to avoid contact with your skin.

Skin Care:
- Soaps and Cleansers:
- Use hydrating or gentle cleansers rather than traditional soap.
- Always test new products on a small patch of skin before applying them all over to ensure they don't irritate your skin.

- Lotions and Moisturizers:
- Look for lotions endorsed by the American Eczema Association.
- Products with colloidal oatmeal can be very soothing.
- Apply a generous amount of moisturizer within three minutes of toweling off after a bath or shower.

- Sunscreen:
- Mineral sunscreen is recommended as it tends to be less irritating for eczema-prone skin.

General Tips:
- Bathing:
- Pat your skin gently to dry, avoiding harsh rubbing with a towel.
- Apply moisturizer immediately after drying off to lock in moisture.

- Makeup:
- Avoid products with added fragrance to reduce the risk of irritation.
