Good every everyone! My name is Jennifer and I live in Ocoee FL. I've had Eczema since birth so I've known to use sensitive skin detergent. I used Ivory as a kid and for over 10 yeard I've used Tide Free And Gentle. I noticed within the past 2 months there's been a change and I'm not longer able to use the product. I've also tried All Free and Clear, Arm & Hammer Plus, and Molly Suds. I need your help and/or any ideas. I really have no idea what to do now. Thank you!

Good morning!! I've determined over this trial and error period I'm more than likely allergic to Benzisothiazolinone, C10-16 Alketh, Fatty Acids, Fragrances, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate &
Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate. I'm stuck because this truly eliminates every store bought detergent

Here are some alternative detergent options that other people with eczema have found success with:

• Purex Free and Clear Liquid Laundry Detergent
• Seventh Generation Free and Clear Laundry Detergent
• Fairy Non Biological Stain Powder

Remember to look specifically for "fragrance-free" rather than just "unscented" products, as unscented items may still contain masking fragrances that can irritate eczema-prone skin. Some helpful laundry tips to minimize eczema flares:

• Use liquid detergents when possible as they leave less residue than powders
• Skip fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they contain irritating synthetic fragrances
• Try using 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar as a natural fabric softener alternative
• Run an extra rinse cycle to remove all detergent residue
• Clean your washing machine regularly to remove built-up detergent residue

If store-bought options continue causing problems, some people make their own gentle detergent using basic ingredients like baking soda or borax.
