I'm allergic to latex, so can't use most of the dishwashing gloves sold in stores that contain latex. I also am not a big fan of nitrile gloves, but I would wear nitrile if nothing else exists. I'm desperate, as I have nothing right now other than cheap disposable vinyl gloves. They work, since the gloves are very thin, they do not provide much protection against hot water. Any recommendations would be most appreciated.

Members rallied around someone searching for latex-free dishwashing gloves, with the most popular recommendations being Mr. Clean latex-free gloves from Walmart and Lanon gloves from Amazon, which feature a cotton lining and come in multiple colors. Several members emphasized the importance of trying different brands until finding the right fit, noting that thicker gloves can feel stiff while thinner ones may not protect against hot water or trigger eczema flares. A recurring theme was the community's patient problem-solving spirit, with members checking back to offer additional suggestions and celebrating together when a workable solution was found.

I'm so happy to report that I found some latex free dishwashing gloves on Amazon. They are made by Lanon and they have a cotton liner. I have not received them yet, so don't know how they will fit. They are DEHP free, which pleases me and they come in pretty colors.
All the best,

Thank you so much SuElf. I will look into this further. The Lanon gloves I purchased on Amazon are really nice, but I have had some eczema flares on my hands since I've been using them. So I'm still searching and I will look at Playtex again. Many people on this website have also suggested Mr. Clean gloves, but I find them to be rather uncomfortable, that is too thick and stiff.
Thanks for writing and I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving Day today (if you celebrate this holiday).

Thank you Donna - it's so true. I found some gloves on Amazon that are so perfect - they are by Lanon. I have small hands. I purchased size medium.
the gloves are better than any I've seen in grocery or hardware stores.
The lining is 100% cotton. Three pair for about $20.

I'm so sorry to hear you have been suffering with migraines. I have never had headaches, but I have Crohn's disease which also slows me down most days.
It's hard to get through the holidays when you don't feel well, so take care and just rest your body and mind.
Warmly,
