I also have severe eczema on my torso, under breasts, on the private areas, my eyelids & scalp. I tend to be hot & sweat which makes my eczema flare. Im even hot in the winter time. I take glycopyorralate to try to control thr sweating but it only helps so much.

How can severe eczema on the torso and genital area be managed?

The burning and tight skin you're experiencing, especially between your legs, sounds really uncomfortable. It's important to see a dermatologist as soon as possible - they can confirm it's eczema and rule out other issues like infections.

For severe eczema like yours, treatment usually requires a combination approach:

Immediate Relief:
- Topical medications applied directly to the skin can help reduce inflammation
- Over-the-counter anti-itch products may provide some relief
- Keep the genital area clean, but avoid overwashing or irritating soaps

Clothing and Lifestyle:
- Wear loose, comfortable cotton clothing to reduce friction
- Avoid tight clothing that can aggravate symptoms
- Use fragrance-free laundry detergents and rinse clothes thoroughly

Consider Phototherapy:
- Narrow band UVB therapy has been found helpful for genital eczema

Your dermatologist may also recommend prescription treatments depending on severity. Finding the right combination often takes some trial and error, but many treatment options are available now.

Please don't try to manage this alone - severe eczema, especially in sensitive areas, really needs professional guidance to get symptoms under control.
