I've used infrared red light therapy panel for 3 years primarily for arthritis joint pain and stiffness. But during a really bad flare actually my fist time...I used it 20 minutes up close to my face along with 30 minutes full body exposure. It helps heal at a cellular level. Because it was my 1st big flare I got lots of good advice from people on this Support Group page. Another thing that I've used was a humidifier in my bedroom next to my bed. Also taking oral antihistamine drug while flare is active, and cut out all dairy foods.
So yes get a red infrared light but do your homework because there's a big difference from one company to another. I'm Canadian so my light is from a Canadian Company called "Rouge". I bought it directly from their website. There's always promotions like Black Friday and other times of the year . There's other reputable American companies. Just be careful buying on Amazon because there's a lot of cheap knock off brands there that their panels don't have the best power or intensity or amount of lights. So you get what you pay for.
It's a really good investment for your overall health and longevity! Hope this helps.
I got mine at Nordstrom. I love it!:
I am trying it for my face for the vitiligo and the eczema
They have red light therapy at planet fitness. Need someone to recommend or dispute the use of the facility. It would help many people if it helps .
Where did you get the red light therapy mask from @A MyEczemaTeam Member? Are you seeing any benefits yet?
