Members shared mixed experiences with COVID vaccines and eczema, with some reporting no complications after multiple doses while others described new or worsening eczema appearing weeks to months after their second or third shots. Several members found relief through treatments like prednisone, antihistamines, daily Vaseline routines, and Dupixent, though one member noted their eczema returned months after Dupixent initially cleared it. A recurring theme was uncertainty about whether the vaccines directly caused flares or simply coincided with other triggers, balanced by gratitude from those who experienced no reactions at all.

I had a horrible reaction to the Moderna shot last year. I wound up with eczema everywhere head to toe! After months of prednisone and skin treatments and antihistamines I finally was good. I then was under the supervision of an Allergist and got the Pfizer shot this January but I had been doing daily Vaseline skin treatments and had no reaction.

My eczema seem to have gotten worse after my injections. Not sure if it was truly the shots, or something else.
