Members shared varied approaches to managing scalp eczema and seborrheic dermatitis, with many finding relief through medicated shampoos like Nizoral, Ketoconazole, T/Sal, Head and Shoulders, and Selsun Blue, often rotating between products to prevent buildup. Several members highlighted natural remedies that worked for them, including coconut oil overnight treatments, tea tree oil applications, mayonnaise conditioning for severe flare-ups, and frequent washing with gentle products like Vanicream. A recurring theme was the frustration of constant itching and hair loss, with strong encouragement to see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and prescription treatments when over-the-counter options alone aren't enough.

I have been using Organic unrefined coconut oil on my hair a few times a week. Leave on overnight or for a few hours during the day before washing. It has made such a difference on my scalp.
