Members shared extensive product recommendations for managing hand eczema and itching without steroids, with the most frequently mentioned solutions including CeraVe products, colloidal oatmeal-based creams, Sarna for immediate itch relief, and specialty hand creams like LaRoche-Posay Cicaplast and Gold Bond Eczema Relief. Several members emphasized the importance of using gentle cleansers designed for sensitive skin and offered detailed routines that included both washing and moisturizing products, with one member providing an exhaustive list of tested favorites across multiple categories. A recurring theme throughout the conversation was problem-solving around specific sensitivities, particularly petroleum allergies, which led to community discovery of petroleum-free alternatives like Alba Botanica and Sky Organics jellies that members found absorb better and provide longer-lasting moisture than traditional petroleum-based products.

Dear Cg3:
I'm so happy that you are happy with both the Alba Botanica product and Sky Organics Products too. What wonderful news! I guess it is time I place my order.
I do want to contact them first - just to ensure both companies support products being used around the eyes. Many companies will not promote usage around the eyes, as it is a such a delicate area. Thanks so much for your feedback and I hope the products continue to work well for you. After a few weeks, let me know which product you like better.
Thanks,

Madelyn, You wanted to know which Manuka honey I use. It actually says for Roseacea but I feel the ingrediants are also good for eczema. It is: pHat 5.5 Roseacea cream. Also on Amazon every so often a product comes up that says can be used near eyes. It starts with an M and is about 6 letters long. Next time I see it I will take down the name.

Sarna works for me, but if it is open it might burn.

Thank you Cindy. I've been using Eucerin Eczema Relief cream and although it works well for moisturizing, it certainly does not stop the itch. Perhaps CereVe would be a better choice.
Thank you,
