My son went twice a week for 4 months. We were able to use a weaker steroid ointment whilst he had treatment, he still required creaming but the eczema was better and itch was reduced loads as well. Unfortunately skin flared up as soon as he stopped going.
@A MyEczemaTeam Member That's exactly what my 7 yr old son's dermatologist recommended as well, 1-2 times a week.. Has it helped control the itch? Would you recommend?
Used it a couple of years ago as recommended by my dermatologist. It worked miracles on the eczema on my face which cleared up within 3-4 weeks but made almost no difference to the eczema on my body at all. However, I do find my skin is better during summer when exposed to the sun, I wonder if the hospital UVB rays weren't strong enough
Yes it did help the itch but your not allowed in the sunshine after treatment..
hope that helps but everyone is different
Fingers crossed for you x
