Members overwhelmingly described Dupixent as life-changing for eczema, with most noticing reduced itching within weeks and clearer skin over time, though one parent noted their toddler still struggles with nighttime scratching. Several members shared practical tips for making injections easier, including using the stomach instead of the thigh for painless shots, ensuring the medication is at room temperature, and remembering the pen needle is so small it's barely felt. A recurring theme was the challenge of insurance coverage for a medication that truly works, alongside managing mild side effects like dry eyes with solutions like TheraTears.

I just give it in my thigh like my diabetic medicine. It sure does help, next Tuesday is 2 months for me.

I currently use Dupixent and it has worked wonders for me! The first thing that I noticed was improvement in the over-all itchy feeling that I felt day and night. Over time, the amount of new rashes decreased, and existing rashes go away quicker, and do not become as large anymore. It has truly made such an impact on my life, that I can’t even express how grateful I am to be able to take it.

I started back in December and updating. It has given me my life back. I was ready to commit myself to whatever hospital would take me for the excruciating pain and mental anguish of being disfigured. My skin is clear except one little spot on the center of my palm that used to crack and bleed constantly. The redness and tissue is almost back to normal. I have had no new breakouts and my hair is growing back. I have greatly reduced alcohol consumption and increasing my exercise and healthy eating more strict. Bettering my overall health. Dupixent saved me. If it suddenly stopped working, and I broke out, I would definitely do the patch testing. Can't do it while on Dupixent. But I never had skin issue and moved in the this awful humidity, pollen and East Coast water. Could be something there that I can't tolerate.

Thanks for the advice on stomach injection. I was doing thigh and it killed. Absolutely zero pain in the stomach. I didn't even feel it going in. It's a push pen-nut a traditional needle. You don't see the needle, its protected. My back and chest were covered with thousands of needles and was unbearable. One in my stomach this is clearing it-you'd do anything. If you're not that bad and creams semi work, then be thankful and stick with the creams. But it was so severe I was going to hurt myself if I didn't get something that worked.

I started Dupixen Injection a few months ago and It has made a major difference in my exzema. My skin is not as broke out and I do not itch nearly as much as I used to . The only problem I am having is getting my insurance to continue letting me get it which is a problem when I finally get something that works the silly insurance won't pay for it.
