I have been experiencing a dry itching scalp for some time now. I have tried oil treatments and different shampoos for dry scalp with little results.

Have you tried mixing your own hair oils? I read recently that coconut oil has anti-fungal properties and shouldn’t be used daily. It’s like using hand sanitizer on your hands often: it gets rid of good skin flora. So I switched to jojoba oil and I mix it with vitamin E oil and use that on my face and scalp. So far so good. I used to add essential oils like peppermint or tea tree oil but my eczema gets worse with those things now. I hope that helps.

I've been using the head and shoulders clinical strength for seborrheic dermatitis. They have a menthol one and a manuka honey one. The menthol works best in my opinion. It's a solid blue bottle.

I have tried Head and Shoulders, Neutrogena Healthy Scalp, Neutrogena Soothe and Calm as well as Difeel rosemary and mint without much relief. Thank you for your suggestions. Happy that what you are using is working for you
